A Family Legacy
Pro Rock Construction Services LLC was founded in 1993 by Salvatore (Sam) Guy as a sole proprietorship specializing in painting and drywall while his wife, April, completed her college education in Elizabethtown, Pennsylvania. With their family expanding and a longing to return to their roots, the couple moved the business to Southern New Jersey in 1996. Over the following years, they offered quality drywall, painting, and general remodeling services across Delaware and South Jersey.
In 2005, as the industry evolved, Sam invested in the company's first backhoe and ventured into septic system installations, transforming Pro Rock into a recognized backhoe service and septic installation company. With continued success and growth, the company diversified further by purchasing its first asphalt paver and beginning to lay asphalt and aggregate driveways in 2007.
By the spring of 2009, Pro Rock had expanded its services to include commercial site work and development. Today, after nearly two decades, Pro Rock Construction continues to seek new clients and cherishes lasting relationships with our loyal general contractors and property owners.
As of 2022, Sam and April's four sons have joined the business, reinforcing our commitment as a family-owned and operated company that upholds values of integrity, efficiency, diligence, and faith, guided by the teachings of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Psalms 91.

Owner
Sam leads Pro Rock with a visionary approach, continuously driving the company toward new heights. His focus on innovation and expansion involves everything from acquiring the latest equipment to exploring new markets and services.
Office Manager
April, Sam's wife, has skillfully managed our office and handled financial control since the company's early days. When you call us, it's April who ensures your project inquiries are met with efficiency and care.
Project Manager/Estimator
As the eldest son, Clayton has been involved with Pro Rock from a young age, working alongside Sam each summer. After college, he stepped into a full-time role, focusing on project estimates and coordination.
Project Manager/Site Manager
Derek, the second eldest, grew up in the business, starting his involvement in his school summers and transitioning to full-time after high school. He now manages daily operations onsite, overseeing tasks and leading crews.
Site Manager/Operator
Weston started his journey with Pro Rock during his high school summers and joined full-time in 2020. He works closely with Derek in site management and operates major machinery.
Estimator/Operator
The youngest of the Guy siblings, Harrison recently started full-time work after high school. He focuses on project takeoffs and estimates and supports onsite operations, ensuring projects run smoothly.
Site Manager/Operator
Jairo, a key member of our team for many years, plays a crucial role as a crew leader and primary machine operator. His experience and leadership are invaluable to our field operations.
