Chipotle & Retail - Bridgeton, NJ

Pro Rock was contracted by general contractor H. Carlson & Sons Construction for the site development of an existing hardware store in Carl’s Corner, Bridgeton NJ.

Our scope included demo of the existing hardware store, the bulk earthwork, three above-ground infiltration basins, two underground infiltration basins, storm drainage, utilities, concrete curbing and sidewalk, standard asphalt and porous asphalt, retaining walls, line striping, and signage.

The most interesting portion of the project was the 165’ jack and bore under NJ State Highway Route 77.

A “jack and bore” is a horizontal drilling method that pushes a hollow steel casing under ground which allows utilities to pass through without disturbing surface infrastructure. In this case, the jack and bore was utilized for the new 8” sanitary sewer line that runs under route 77 and connects to the city’s sewer system in the adjacent lot.

Saddlehill Winery - Voorhees, NJ

This very special project was the vision and execution of entrepreneur Bill Green, owner and founder of Saddlehill Winery.

Pro Rock contracted with Saddlehill Holdings to complete the sitework for the “Tasting Room” portion of the winery located in Voorhees, NJ.

Our scope included demolition of the existing horse barn, a bio-retention basin, and detention basin, pad prep for the new Tasting Room, bulk excavation, utilities, storm drainage, concrete curbing and sidewalk, asphalt parking lot, and a reinforced truck driveway around the property.

We worked closely with Bill and project manager, Steve Musilli, to bring Bill’s dreamchild to life.
